Approach

The heart of EduFX's approach is a fundamentally new learning environment characterized by compelling and relevant content. This system, named the Modular Interactive Learning Environment (MILE), is being designed and developed by EduFX in collaboration with educators, regulators, students, and businesspeople.

Each MILE module will be pre-tested to prove its effectiveness, MILE will provide an engaging learning environment, and the successful completion of a module will be based on performance, not time. EduFX will manage the module specification creation process, working in conjunction with education professionals. The modules will be matched to the standards developed by each state. EduFX will assure module quality by only certifying a module after it passes rigorous testing.

EduFX has begun development of an Algebra I module for its MILE system. The module is being developed in collaboration with educators and administrators from public schools in California.
